The P-1 Visa enables internationally recognized athletes to enter the U.S. for purposes of performing at a specific athletic competition as individual athletes or part of a group or team. Similarly, the P-1 Visa enables internationally recognized entertainment groups to enter the U.S. for purposes of performing at an event in the U.S.
The P-2 Visa enables performing artists who are part of an entertainment group that has been recognized internationally as outstanding in the discipline for a sustained and substantial period of time to enter the U.S. for purposes of participating in a reciprocal exchange program.
The P-3 Visa enables performing artists who are culturally unique entertainers to enter the U.S. for purposes of developing, interpreting, representing, coaching, or teaching a unique or traditional ethnic, folk, cultural, musical, or theatrical artistic performance or presentation.
